Welsh A.F alt wedding at The Olde barn at Penygraig!

S&O’s Welsh A.F wedding in Carmarthen last year is the perfect way to celebrate St Davids day today! Full of colour and taking inspiration from Rock n Roll Bride magazine, the pair created their perfect day that really embodied important elements that were personal and important for them. As both top Welshies, born and bred it was important to them to have their wedding somewhere that ‘feels like home’. So where better than surrounded by their family and friends in Carmarthen?!

I met up with Sioned in the morning at home for all that prep fun before we all headed off the Carmarthen registry office where even the ceremony was delivered in Welsh. I can’t speak Welsh but I think I got the jist! 😉

After plenty of confetti and cuddles we made our way to The Olde Barns at Penygraig which were beautifully decorated by Megan & Claude with gorgeous colourful florals and candles that really popped against the black table linen and disco balls - I loved the look! And to top it all off funko pop cake toppers and handmade banner; who doesn’t love a quirky detail?!

The evening continued with a fiesta of tapas, speeches and disco and signed off with one of the best golden hours Wales has to offer! I may not have been raised in Wales but it certainly has my heart and it’s clear to see why it played such a huge part in S&O’s love story!

Llongyfarchiadau mawr Sioned & Owain!!
