“The Gay Agenda” - Dean & Luke’s two day Bristol wedding!
“We don’t want a wedding, we want to have get married and have a f'*cking good time!” - possibly one of the best descriptions of a marriage celebration ever, delivered perfectly by Luke during a quick 10 minute couple photo sesh on their wedding day in Bristol last summer. Iconic!
I’m lucky to say that I knew these wonderful humans through friends and was also fortunate enough to photograph another mutual friends wedding (also a belter I will share at some point soon) and when they messaged to say “Hey pal, we’re getting married - will you photograph it?” I can honestly say by bum left my chair I was that excited! And it did not disappoint - their two day Bristol celebration was exactly what they wanted. A marriage and a good time!
The weekend started off early on Friday 13th with the couple getting ready with their buddies before heading over to the registry office to sort the legalities out. The celebrations really started once we got to square club where they met up with their closest friends and family for dinner, drinks and some actually REALLY good speeches. A good chilled evening of laughter and chat before turning up the energy for the following night of shenanigans at Clifton Observatory!
I arrived on Saturday to the guys attaching disco balls to….well, everything! Ready for a night of karaoke and sweet dance moves. The weather and the sunset was beautiful, but it didn’t matter when the dance floor is on fire right?!
