A Cornish lavender summer wedding!

Oh BABY! Do I have a good one for you! – a summer extravaganza like no other!
(Lemme set the scene real quick) The gorgeous Cornish coast, bright blue skies, the sea breeze and the smell of lavender wafting through the air! For this wedding, I got to capture the incredible, Helen and Tom tying the knot at Great Carnbargus Farm, the home of Cornish Lavender, and it was everything you’d want from a summer wedding. They said their vows out in the open surrounded by their friends and family and stunning landscape surrounding their venue.
My favourite thing about the day was not only their commitment to keeping it fun and relaxed, but how “them” it felt. All of the handmade details to the inclusion of what was really important to them. After the ceremony, everyone celebrated and relaxed in the sunshine with a vintage mix-and-match tea party. Think floral teacups, pastel colors, and all the homemade goodies you can imagine! Cute AF!
Then it was into the rustic barn for the wedding breakfast, and wow, it was it the perfect backdrop for all the casual festivities. The sun was shining, beers a’flowing, and I kid you not, I did have to keep reminding myself I wasn’t on holiday! To set off that festival vibe they had street food trucks, Cornish ice cream (which was a huge hit, of course) AND brownies, and even a couple of baseball games (Tom’s passion) before golden hour!
As the sun began to set, the glorious weather determined that smores and campfires over dance floors, it just felt right.
All those quirky, unique moments, lots of laughter, and those vibrant colours that just popped in the low sunlight. Helen and Tom really embraced celebrating togetherness in a way that was both joyful and distinct. Honestly, it was one of those days where I felt so lucky to be there, capturing all the happiness. Congratulations guys! And Cornwall, see you again soon yeah?!
