Colourful and candid wedding dream at The Globe, Hay on Wye!

If you’ve browsed my website before landing here then you will already have picked up on the fact that I love a colourful, relaxed and candid wedding! Abi & Joey’s wedding was the epitome of my favourite things combined into one glorious , creative summer wedding dream!

The pair got married at one of my favourite Welsh venues, The Globe in Hay on Wye. A picturesque location only made dreamier by the blue skies and gorgeous wedding decor! After speaking with the guys before their day I just knew this one was going to be a keeper - chock full of my favourite suppliers, alt inspired decor choices, relaxed vibes, live music and the magical words I always want to hear “candid is priority, we trust you!”

A&J got ready separately but just across the road from each other which made it easy to capture some of the vibes from each of their mornings before they came together. Both of them were surrounded by their close friends and family which added to the playful atmosphere full of games and laughter. Purely joyful!

The Globe itself had been transformed into a botanical wonderland of reds and pinks thanks to the amazing work of Alex of Wilde Posie. The space soon filled up with the couples nearest and dearest (literally packed!) and shortly after Joey was soon followed by Abi’s entrance and they shared heart filled sentiments as they were officially married!

A sh*t tonne of conffeti, obviously! Followed by an afternoon of pure bliss in the sunshine! Cocktails, ice lollies and YES - A MARIACHI BAND! Even the speeches were held outside ahead of pizza so everyone could just relax and be exactly where they wanted to be. The ultimate candid wedding!
