Summer dreaming! Welsh coastal wedding at Rosedew Farm!

Finally the sun has come out to play after a very wet start to 2026 and it’s got me thinking of all the summer festival vibe weddings i’ve got lined up this year! It may only be the end of April right now but May is just around the corner and that means one thing - WEDDING SEASON IS HERE!!

Today I want to tell you all about the summery wedding dream that was Sian & Darran’s big day in early June 2024. Filled with blue skies, sea side and good vibes, these guys knew how to plan a good time. Taking place at the gorgeously rustic and relaxed Rosedew farm in Llantwit Major, the pair both got ready on site with their friends, family and very well behaved Dalmations. I also had by wonderful second shooter Ashleigh with me for the day so not a moment of fun was missed!

Once all suited and booted everyone gathered ready for the ceremony where even Darran had his own aisle moment with his boys and the dogs. When Sian joined him at the front their wasn’t a dry eye in the house and the joy and energy you could feel radiating off everyone present just seemed to add to the couples excited emotions.

With plenty of outdoor space, everyone frolicked outside enjoying the drinks, warm weather and nearby wildlife (it’s a working farm you know!) We had confetti, smoke grenades and a whole lot of shenanigans before it was time to refuel and have some downtime. That late afternoon sunshine made it impossible not to go to the nearby beach for some amaaaaazing whimsical coastal view shots (if I do say so myself) before the evening kicked off.

After the serenity of the beach we were refreshed and ready to ramp up the energy with some live music, a dramitic costume change and a shit load of sparklers to celebrate the brand new Mr & Mrs Thomas!
