Its been a minute since I showed you a lovely Shack Revolution wedding so let's do that today! This one is all about the sweetest couple, L&J and a wedding celebration that they just wanted to feel like a beer garden party
Keeping it relaxed, L chose to get ready at the shack itself in the morning so I arrived to capture the details and the finishing touches before their guests started to arrive. Instantly you could tell the vibes were going to be just right for this one, the sun was shining, beers flowing and disco balls everywhere. The pair even had one of their best friends lead the ceremony, keeping it fun and just the right level of heartfelt. And then to sign the ceremony off - tequila shots! Pretty on brand!
Like I mentioned, L&J were all about keeping things chill - good music, good company and good food so they left out the faffy parts of wedding planning. Stuff like table plans and loads of group shots were not their style so the plan for the rest of the afternoon was candids (my fave!) with of course, just a couple of essential couples shots with a nod to their fur baby Hank the rottweiler!
There's not much to say really other than how obvious a great time this wedding was and I think you can see that from the photos! It just goes to show that there are no right and wrong answers when it comes to wedding planning, chose the parts that work for you and bin the rest that don't.
If you want a big white wedding with all the trims and whistles then you do you hun, but equally if you want an informal celebration, unconventional ceremony and a colourful beer garden party to follow, you should totally go for it...and call me to come photograph it!
